MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Special:  Macaroni & Cheese with garlic stick OR Cod Nuggets with fries or wedges.  There will be no pizza due to an equipment breakdown.  It is freebie Friday.  Get a free jet juice with every food purchase.


Attention all senior students interested in experiencing the great outdoors. This spring, get back to nature and enjoy hiking and exploring the pristine beauty of the Bruce Peninsula in Tobermory, Ontario.
See Mr. Byrne in rm. 259 for application forms and more details. The deadline to sign up is by March Break.  


Attention all boys interested in trying out for the jr boys hockey teams. Please sign up at rm 175 all week. We will field two teams for the London and Belle River Tournament.


Hey Saints!  It's back... the St. Anne's Literary Laurels Writing Contest.  
Students in all grades can enter one submission in any, or all, of the FOUR categories.

Awards are given for first and second place finishes in each category.

The categories are:
POETRY
NON-FICTION
FICTION, and
SPOKEN WORD POETRY (Judged by performance only)
HOW TO ENTER:

All written pieces are to be typed and submitted to Ms. Rozic (Room 267) or Ms. Cavallin (Room 265).                    
CONTEST DEADLINE:   March 2, 2015

Please include a cover page stapled to your entry with the following information:

1)      Name
2)      Grade
3)      Category of entry: (Poetry, Fiction or Non-Fiction)
4)      Homeroom Teacher and Classroom Number
5)      Accurate Word Count of Submission (Entries must not exceed 3000 words)

SPOKEN WORD ENTRIES:   You will be judged by your performance approximately two weeks after poem submission in front of a live audience during Period 4.


Attention all students taking French this semester or have taken it last semester----please see Mme Guadagno in room 174 for the Quebec City Trip!  There's still time to sign up and register!  This is a trip guaranteed to be full of fun, culture, history, religion, geography, activities and so much more!!!  There are still many spots available---talk to your friends and come on this adventure together!  Great memories to be created!  Don't delay see Mme Guadagno today (room 174) to go on the Quebec City Trip!!


Attention Semester 1 Hairstyling and Aesthetic students, If you wish to pick up your portfolio you may do so between now and Friday after which they will be dismantled and used as needed.


Attention Potential Sr. Boy Soccer Players
Tryouts begin next Tuesday Feb. 24th, in Carmelita Hall at 7:00 p.m. sharp.  Please bring proper gear which includes shin guards for tryouts.

Senior Boys Basketball:

Today - 5 pm - at Kennedy, your Senior Saints ballers take on the Clippers in a WECSSAA semi-final showdown, with the winner advancing to Sunday's championship final at the St. Denis Centre - U of Windsor.  Represent Saints Nation - come out and be that sixth man on the floor.  Today - 5 o'clock at Kennedy.
