Attention Students,
Audret Festeryga is the Federal Liberal Candidate for Essex. Her campaign team will help train, support and develop the next generation of empowered youth in preparation for the upcoming election. If you would like to sign up for phone canvassing, door to door canvassing or assembling and placing lawn signs once the election is called, see guidance for details.
There are 11 days left to sign up for upgrade courses, full credit courses, on-line and coop in summer school. Many students have picked up an application but have not yet returned the sign form. Now is the time to address your plans for summer school. Make an appointment in Guidance today.

Grade 12 senior day is on THURS JUNE 11th! Your $10 and signed contract are due to your HOMEROOM teacher by next weds, May 27th. If you need a contract, they have them in the main office.
Any questions, ask your homeroom teacher OR Mrs. Dufour if you see her in the halls.
Attention all Choir, Band, Grease Cast, Pit orchestra, Sound and Light tech students and all music students taking classes this year the Annual Music Banquet is fast approaching. Who else is invited all music students and friends, parents, guardians etc.. At the banquet 30 awards are given out, we also share a great meal, and dance all night. This year the banquet will be held at Torino's restaurant in Tecumseh. Tickets can be purchased next week in the music room from Mr. Gagnon.
Cost per ticket is $25.00 dollars. This year's theme is "Moolight in the Tropics" with a "Grease" 50's twist!! The banquet will be on Friday, June 5th with doors opening at 6:00pm and festivities goes on till approx. midnight.

1. All leaders who are attending the Create a Garden event today MUST be in the atrium at 11:00 am sharp. The bus leaves at 11:10. Bring your lunch with you. There is no time to purchase a lunch in the cafeteria.
2. On Monday, the Peer Leadership class will go to their placements because Mrs. Gyemi will be absent that day. You will come to class in room 171 on Tuesday next week instead of on Monday.
Mrs. Gyemi's Peer leaders will report to their placements today and go to class in room 171 tomorrow instead. Please remember to check in for attendance.
Sr Boys Soccer
Your Sr. Saints ended their last night in the Quad "A" championship vs the Holy Names Knight. In a game where your Sanits provided some good highlights, it wasn't enough to capture the title. The final score was 3-0. Our man of the match was our goalie Michael Catani. The team wishes the seniors the best in their future endeavours. See you next year. Coach Angelo

The Track and Field team competed at the next level of competition this week on Wednesday in Chatham and Thursday at the University of Windsor.
Athletes who placed in the top 5, will continue on to OFSAA REGIONALS next Friday and Saturday in London.
Athletes moving on to the next level include:
First place went to Jesse Devogeleare in the junior boys high jump and pole vault, and a close finish in the triple jump.
First place also went to Madison Bardoel and Brad Gyemi in their pole vault competitions.
First place to Frankie Calvaruso in the 400 m and 8th in the 200 m.
The midget boys relay team also advanced finishing 3rd. Members of this team are: Aiden Mitrevski, Aaron Dugan, Frankie Calvaruso and Noah Rocheleau.
Second place went to Aaron Dugan in the 100m hurdles.
The senior boys relay team (Ben Clarke, Braeden Braccio, Stephen Sarweh, and Hayden Bourque) finished 2nd and the Senior Girls relay team run by Alex Payne, Jacquie Hutchings, Taylor Reaume and Alessia Mussio, finished with a 4th place, also advancing to OFSAA regionals.
Second place finishes were also awarded to Jacquie Hutchings, Zeyad Saadi and Jordan Lupas in the pole vault. Pat Matthew also advances to the next level with a 4th place.
Kyla Sovran advances with 5th place finishes in the pole vault and the 200m sprint.
Other respectable performances were had by our athletes, and your coaches are VERY PROUD.
A reminder to OFSAA regional qualifiers about the meeting after school today.

up an application for the BBF Bursary. Up to $2,500 dollars will be awarded to a student in need. Once again, applications for the $2,500 dollar BBF Bursary are available at guidance to a deserving student who has suffered the loss of one or both parents. Come to guidance for more details.
