The cross country team battled some brutal winds and cold temperatures yesterday against the best runners at the South Western Ontario Cross Country meet with hopes of running well enough to represent our region at OFSAA next weekend.
One of our athletes, Skylar Forrest, did just that - as she coasted to a solid 3rd place finish in the midget girls division.
Other top achievements included Meg Mooney finishing 12th in the Junior girls race - allowing her to be an alternate at OFSAA.
Grade 9 girl, Hailey Smith, finished 15th and
in the midget boys - Gabriele Biundo and Nick Ditty finished 20th and 21st.
Jackson Moy - had a great time in the Junior Boys race - finishing 22nd.
Congratulations to all athletes who competed under such tough conditions, and especially to our graduating athletes. Your coaches wish you well in your future races.
Attention all girls who are trying out for this years hockey team. Mondays tryout will be moved to Wednesday Nov 4th, 3 pm @ Atlas Tube Centre.
