On Tuesday, Oct. 27th we will be taking two buses to St. Clair College for the College Information Program. This is a great opportunity for graduating college-bound students to research not only what St. Clair has to offer, but also the various colleges across Ontario. Permission forms are available in Guidance. The first 80 returned will determine who will be accompanying Guidance on this trip. One bus is already full. Space is limited. Gr. 11 collge-bound students are encouraged to attend.
Attention choir members: there will be a practice tonight after school, in the music room, until 4pm.
HALLOWEEN WEEK BEGINS MONDAY SAINTS!
On Monday, classes will be participating in our annual PUMPKIN DECORATING CONTEST -- classes have you brainstormed some ideas???? Winning class receives a pancake breakfast~
Tuesday we have a period 4 BUYOUT to watch a scary halloween movie in the caf... popcorn will be provided!!!!! Get your TOONIES into your period 4 teachers!!
Look for some excited CAF GAMES in the cafeteria during both lunches on this exciting week!
ON FRIDAY, we have halloween dress up day! Who will have to coolest, most original costumes this year???? Looking forward to seeing what you come up with, saints - but remember... be appropriate!!!! no masks are allowed, we need to see your face! and think about what is respectable or not... don't show too much skin, lets have some wholesome, appropriate FUN!
The battle is on to win the Coats for Kids pizza party. Tied for fourth place is Mr. Lepain and Mrs. Eagan's classes with 6 coats each. In third place is Mr. Hughes's class with 12 coats. In second place is Mrs. Livermore's class with 20 coats. In first place is Mrs. Maurovic's class with 25 coats. Keep it up Saints! Please bring in your coats and help keep the needy warm this winter.
It's time for the Sears Ontario Drama Festival. This festival is an acting competition between local high schools. We are looking for student written scripts to be performed at the festival, as well as, student directors and stage managers. If you have would like to submit your own script, direct or stage manage, please see Mrs. Livermore or Mrs. Jefford.

Due to a large amount of sign ups for the hockey team our first tryouts will be for those that are in grade 9and 10 only .,this tryout will take place on Monday at TECUMSEH arena 3:30,-,the cost is ten dollars

This weeks athletes of the week are Morgan Ing for the senior boys football team and Claire LaMarre for the senior girls basketball team.
Morgan threw two touchdown passes in the 14-0 victory over the Riverside Rebels last week. Claire was the top scorer in the game against Assumption with 17 points.
