Recognizing Black History Month
Born in Montréal, Oscar Peterson is recognized the world over as one of the greatest pianists in the history of jazz music. Combining classical mastery with jazz improvisation, he has redefined his art, giving the world a new style of jazz.
In the course of a career that began in 1942, Oscar Peterson has worked with all the greats, including Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie, Count Basie, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Stan Getz, and Charlie Parker. Having received countless honours and awards, including numerous Grammys and Junos, Oscar Peterson continues to delight audiences the world over with his warm personality and brilliant talent.
Reminder that jr boys hockey tryouts will continue on Wednesday 3:30 at Tecumseh Arena. Remember $10.00 for the tryout.
Tickets for SWOSSAA buyout game will continue to be sold on both lunches in the atrium
$5.00 will get you a bus ride to the arena and admittance.
Today your Lady Saints hockey team travel to Chatham in thier quest for a SWOSSA title. The girls will play Ursuline College, wish them luck. Please release the girls at 1:30 today.

Attention all students the Jr. Girls Volleyball team will be hosting SWOSSAA this Tuesday lets pack the gym for our girls. In addition, the Sr Boys basketball teams will be hosting SWOSSAA Finals in our gym this tonight at 7 pm
Our goal again is to pack the gym in a "White Out" wearing white t-shirts - some will be available for purchase at the door for $8.00
Attention Sr. and Jr football players this is a reminder that the weight room is open every night till 4. If you are planning to play next year please sign up and see Coach Ficon. Spring Camp is only 2 months away. All speed positions are encouraged to also run track.

Congratulations to Amy and Ashley Maitre who were selected as this years recipientsrepresenting St. Anne High School for the Human Kinetics Book Award. This Award Honours those student leaders that represent their school in athletics, academics and community service. Congratulations girls.

Senior girls soccer tryouts begin tonight in the gym at 4 pm. All girls interested are to be changed and ready to go at 3:45. You are to meet outside the girls change area.
There will be a Concert band rehearsal tonight. See you there from 2:30 to 4:00.

Students in grade 9-12, taking technology courses will be given preference seating for this trip.
