Hey Saints...it's back again. Our Best Buddies' group is excited to announce our annual Hoop It Up competition will take place on March 24th during period 4 as a two dollar per person class buy out. The first 12 classes will take part in the competition. So, stay tuned...collection will take place after March break.

Your lady saints hockey team won a gold medal in the consolation round at the ofssa tournament in Stratford yesterday. The girls finished with a record of 4 wins and 2 loses. The win yesterday was a great way for our seniors girls to complete thier high school season. Mrs Shepherd and Mr Spadafora would like to congratulate all the girls on a great season, and a special thanks to those seniors, Riley Pirouet, Hope McMahon, Emily Dulong, Olivia Kireta, Danieka Dupuis, Vanessa Despenic, Taylor Reaume, Ashley Maiter, Amy Maiter, and wish them all the best as they graduate.
Senior Boys Basketball:
Yesterday your Senior Saints capped off their immmensely successful season, showing their championship character and resolve with a hard fought 56 to 54 victory over Ottawa St. Patrick's followed by a Consolation Championship loss 63 to 58 to Hamilton Sir Alan Macnab. In the morning session versus St. Patrick's, Anthony Zrvnar led the charge to victory with a season high 31 points, followed by Matt Broderick with 14. In the afternoon match with Macnab, Zrvnar again led the Saints with 18, followed by Ryan Kiss and Blake Ondricko, with 14 each. Congrats Boys...WECSSAA Champions, repeat SWOSSAA Champions and a fine run at OFSAA. Special thanks to graduating seniors Anthony Zrvnar, Mitch Zimmerman, Blake Ondricko, Ryan Kiss, Dan Gore, and Matt Broderick. We beam with pride over your development as athletes, but most of all, as young men.
