Senior Boys Basketball:

Yesterday morning, your Senior Saints were unsuccessful in their second round game versus perennial OFSAA power and number 3 seed Toronto Oakwood 70 to 53.  The Saints battled hard and showed great fight and character in the loss.  Having been relegated to the Consolation bracket the Saints showed their championship resolve in the afternoon, coming back from a 20 points second quarter deficit to defeat Mississauga St. Joseph's 71 to 68.  Matt Broderick led the charge with 23 points followed by Anthony Zrvnar with 21 points and 15 rebounds, 6 of them coming on the offensive board.  Ryan Kiss aded 11 and Blake Ondricko 9 with Curtis and Mitch Zimmerman each adding clutch plays to help the Saints to victory.  This sets up a rematch this morning at 11 am versus Ottawa St. Patrick's with the winner advancing to the Consolation final at St. Clair College - 4:30 today.  Good Luck, Saints.
