Attention Saints!!! Do you enjoy learning about the sciences or do you have a desire to learn about the body and its functions?  Are you planning a career in the area of sport or the medical field? Perhaps you want to become a child and youth worker, audiologist or even a phys ed teacher? If this spikes your interests please listen up. St. Anne's is proud to announce the Specialty High Skills Major in the area of Health and Wellness. You are invited to come and see Mrs. McCabe for more details and/or to pick up an application form. There will be a parent meeting for next year's Silicon Valley Trip, Thrusday, June 2, 2016 at St. Anne's High School @ 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.  Bring your parents / guardians to get all the information and fundraisng information this night.  The tour company will be present this night to answer questions as well.  Hope to see you all there!

Girls slo-pitch!

The girls played their last regular season game on a warm afternoon in Essex.  Even though the girls lost the game 14-2, we still have a chance to play our way in to the playoffs with a game against a top city division team next Tuesday in mcgregor at 3:30

Yesterday our Junior Girls Soccer team took on St. Joes in the semifinal game. Althougth the girls dominted the play for most of the game and were in continual control of the ball along with numerous changes on net it wasn't until Natalie Hogeterp finally scored to start our momentum. Another goal followed by Claire LaMarre and once again by Natalie Hogeterp.
Great hustle by Meg Mooney, Sarah Schincariol, Elise Bull, and Tiana Conflitti and a solid Defence was key in securing the win.
The girls team work and effort paid off as they advance to the WECSSAA final at McHugh park thursday at 4 against Holy names. Come out and cheer on your saints.

There is a scholarship available to any grade 12 student from Good Shepherd Parish.
 It is the CWL scholarship and it is due by May 31st.

Tonight on our field the lady saints soccer team will host Chatham Kent in hopes of recapturing the SWOSSAA Championship. This is the very first championship game that the girls have ever hosted here at our new school.  Make this a special night by coming out and supporting the team.  Game time is 4 pm.

There will be a very important meeting for anyone interested in playing football next year...today at lunch in the gym.

The Junior Boys' Soccer team would like to congratulate the Junior Girls' Soccer team on their victory yesterday.  Not to be out done, the Junior Boys' team beat Riverside last night by a score of 2-1.  They would like to thank the fans, parents and teachers that came out to support them.  Goals came from Frankie Calvarusso in the first half and a cross bar goal by Joe Rados.  Light practice tonight in preparation for tomorrow's game.
