Yesterday our Junior Girls' Soccer team took on Holy Names in the finals. Although our Saints dominated the play and were continually in control of the ball with some unbelievable passing and numerous shots on net, it was holy names that scored the first goal. The girls regrouped and came back strong with a powerful goal by Meg Mooney to tie up the game in the second half. The team headed into overtime and Natalie Hogeterp scored our game winning goal to make us WECSSAA champions. Special mentions goes out to Tiana Conflitti, Sarah Schincariol, Claire LaMarre for great passing and hustle all game, but it all couldn't be possible without our powerful defensive line Maddy Stoyanovich, Haley Smith, Ashley Ditchfield and Elise Bull.
Ms McCabe, Ms Niforos and Emily would like to thank the girls for a amazing season. Congrats girls!!!

The Junior Boys' Soccer team would like to congratulate the Junior Girls' soccer team on winning their championship yesterday.  And to continue with the winning tradition, Mr. Richardson is extremely proud to announce that our Junior Boys' Soccer team beat Holy Names here yesterday by a score of 4-0 thanks to some superb defense lead by Gabriele Biundo, Luke Grosso and Joe Rados as well as goalie Rob Prsa.  Goals were scored by Gian (John) Favero, Martin Suszycki with a great pass from Louis Borrelli and two goals by Frankie Calvarusso.  We also need to acknowledge Noah Mueller who scored last game but wasn't recognized. The win was a total team effort.  Congratulations boys on a great season.  Please wash your uniforms and return them to Mr. Richardson by the end of next week.
