This Thursday is our 9th annual Terry Fox Walk. Students who have not brought in their $20 minimum in pledges can still do so right up until Thursday morning, but will not get an event t-shirt as they have already been ordered.

Teachers, as pledge money comes in, continue to send envelopes to room 259 at the beginning of your 3rd period class. Looking forward to a great day for a great cause!


Congratulations to the Cross Country team who participated in their first "warm-up" meet the Raider Open at Mic Mac Park on Thursday. And yes we have some excellent results. In the Midget Girls Division your gr. 9 girls had an outstanding race with Lauren Pupulin finishing 19th, Grace Hamelin in 17th, coming in 15th, 13th and 11th respectively were Maddy Rozic, Josie Scott and Natalie Adam. The top finisher was Chloe Crep who finished 3rd overall- great things are to come from this team! In the Midget Boys race Noah Cazabon finished 34th, Zach Hreno 16th and Luke Hill ran to come in 7th place overall- great job boys! Luke Grosso was the Junior Boys representative and raced to a 19th place finish. Shannon Leddy and Renee Ray ran in the senior girls division and came in 37th and 39th respectively. Great performances from all athletes! A reminder that WECSSAA is just around the corner so we need all athletes in race shape! Practice tonight after school right after a brief meeting. It's time for Drama Club!  If you like Drama games, improvisation, performance opportunities and making new friends, Drama Club is the place for you.  Our meetings take place on Thursdays after school in the Drama room.  Students in all grades are welcome.  Our first meeting is on Thursday, Sept 29th.  See you there.

Back by Popular Demand... it's the Silicon Valley Technology Field Trip scheduled for April 2017.

Please see Ms. Gayowsky in room 161 to pick up your information package.  Don't delay, seats are limited!  Students will be visiting, Google, Intel, Facebook, Standfor University, Six Flags and more!  This is a technology jam packed field trip. Join in the fun and pick up your package today!

Parent meeting will be held on Oct 12 @ 6:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria!


All students wishing to start their day off right with a nutrious morning snack are welcome to help themselves to a variety of healthy items available in the atrium every morning before school.

Congratulations to the Senior girls basketball team on capturing the University of Windsor tournament Championship this past weekend.  The team opened with a 45-15 victory over Lajeunesse then came back early Saturday morning to defeat a sold Chatham Kent team 53-39.  The final saw the girls match rival Holy Name and the girls came out on top with a 45-27 victory.  Madi Bardoel and Anna Ulicny were outstanding at both ends of the floor throughout the weekend . Cassandra Lesage continues to show her ability to score and rebound.  rade tens Liv Norris and Grace Loebach were key contributors throughout the weekend . Shout out to Claire Lamarre who was chosen as tournament MVP.  Great work ladies. Practice tonite right after school.


Attention all grade 10s: This Wednesday, we will be running a practice literacy test during periods 1 and 3 as preparation for the online OSSLT coming in late October,. There will be an important information meeting in the cafeteria this afternoon during Period 4. If you are a grade 10 student but not in a grade 10 class during period 4, please ask your teacher to let you attend.


All members of the tennis team are to see Ms. Lamos in room 209 at lunch today. There will not be a practice tonight. Please listen to announcements for further instructions regarding practices.
