MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS - NOVEMBER 15, 2016

Students don't miss out on this exciting opportunity.  Come see the sights of California, and experience 5 days of hands on technology workshops, scavenger hunts and much more.  Students will be visiting the Technology Giant Google and enjoy a 1/2 day workshop, campus tour, lunch and much more.  Walk the halls of Stanford University and try out the "bunny suit" of Intel Engineers.  Come experience an upclose look at technology!  Students will also visit places such as, History of Computer Museum, Facebook, Twitter and a day at Six Flags.  Don't delay, see Ms. G for your information and travel package in room 161.

This year's semi formal "A Night in New York{" will be held Friday November 25 at the Serbian Center. Tickets are $40 and will be on sale THIS WEEK ONLY (until November 17) during both lunches in the atrium.

Tuesday Math Help Sessions will be relocated to  the upstairs conference room starting Tuesday Nov. 15th.  Again, Tuesday math help will be held in the upstairs conference room starting Nov. 15th.

Also, there will be NO math help on Thursday Nov. 17th due to parent teacher interviews.


Attention all interested senior boys basketball players. We will have open gym times this Wednesday and Thursday morning starting at 7am in Carmelita Hall. If you cannot make these sessions and are interested in trying out please see Coach Chevalier in room 221 or Coach Kiss in the business room. Stay tuned for official tryout dates and times.


We will be completing  our SPC card sales for this year. With Christmas around the corner, this $10 card can offer many discounts at local businesses (for any student). Cards are $10 and a percentage will come back to the school and to our life skills' department. If you wish to purchase a card, please stop the school store by the end of the week


Jr. Boys tryouts continue this Wed 5-6:30pm  and Thursday 2:30-4pm.


At 4pm the Junior Boys Volleyball Team look to continue their winning ways hosting Great Lakes Secondary out of Sarina in the SWOSSAA Junior Volleyball championship in our gym.  All fan support is always welcome and encouraged.  Students $1.00 and adults $2.00 at the door.


Senior girls volleyball tryouts will be on Wednesday and Thursday at 215pm.  Any questions please see Mrs. Ditchfield


Thinking of studying overseas? We will be hosting an information session on student exchange programsTuesday morning for Gr 9, 10 and 11 students who are interested.  Please sign up in guidance.


Any student  looking for volunteer hours are encouraged to contact Tecumseh Animal Hospital. They're they are looking for a few students who are comfortable around animals for November 26 & 27th to help with their Santa Paws, photo shoots. Students would be expected to help save photo files and print them for the clients. Please contact Dr. McGhie for more information at 519-735-8023.
