Junior Boys' Soccer Team Attention
If you were not at the practice yesterday you need to see Mr. Richardson right away to pick up the necessary permission forms for tomorrow's game. You can not participate without it. All Junior boys' soccer team members must have their forms handed into Mr. Richardson if you wish to play in the tournament on Wednesday.
All track athletes are to see Mrs. Gelinas to confirm entries for WECSAA. Entries are due Wednesday.
Coming off of a 4-2 victory against Sandwich last week, the senior girls soccer team extended their winning streak by defeating St. Joe's 3-0. Goal scorers were Keely Ryan, Tianna Conflitti and Anna Ulicny. Shut-out recorded by Abigail Daniel. Great teamwork ladies. Practice after school, dress for the weather.
Period 4 brings on a charity volleyball challenge between the junior boys and senior girls volleyball teams. With the mass schedule, period 4 begins at 1:20pm. Teachers please excuse the members of both teams at 1pm so they may change and be ready to start at 130pm. All proceeds of this buyout game will go to Our Lady of Guadeloupe Home for Mothers. Thank you in advance to all the classes that have contributed to this soon to be epic rivalry!
Attention Best buddies!
There is a Best Buddies meeting this week on Wednesday after school. We will be planning our last activities for the year. If you cannot attend, please see a staff advisor. That's Best buddies Wednesday - be there!
Students, on Friday some of you received a letter, at your home, from the University of Waterloo regarding their CRAY's survey. This letter contains information for your parents regarding the survey and explains the process for reverse consent - meaning if you or your parents do not want you to take part in this anonymous survey there is information on how to do this. The survey will be administered on Friday, May 5th during period 2. Only classes that were selected will be involved.

WHY THIS IS AN ISSUE?
Regular physical activity in youth develops cardiovascular fitness, strength, and bone density while reducing the risk of over 25 chronic conditions, including heart disease, stroke, hypertension, breast cancer, colon cancer, type-2 diabetes, and osteoporosis. The more physical activity, the better.
