Good morning Saints. Friday, your Junior Girls' Soccer team started their WECSSAA tournament play with 3 games in sunny but windy weather. Our first game was against Essex. Our grils dominated the play from beginning to end, winning 5-0.
Our second game was against a much tougher Holy Names team. The girls were able to squeak out a win after most of the game being tied 1-1. In the end, the girls managed to get a second goal with only a minute left in the game and take the win.
Our last game was against Massy. Our grils again dominated the play from beginning to end, winning 5-0.
Special mention must be made to Rachel and Hailey for great defensive play, to Slyvia, Serena, Taylor, and Sara for many goals scored, and great midfield play from Lauren, Alyssa, Mady R, and Natalie .
A great effort by all. Our girls will continue their season on Tuesday May 16th. Good luck Girls. Practice today after school for everyone, no exceptions.
