Yesterday your Junior Boys' Soccer team played the second day of their WECSSAA tournament. Our first game was against Sandwich in which the boys dominated the play from start to finish winning 6-0 with goals from Louis Borelli, Romano Liburdi, Matt Amascatto, Matt Schneider, Dylan Revenberg and Dawson Ryan. Our second game was a much harder battle fought against St. Joseph with Louis Borelli scoring the only goal of the game. Great defensive play by Luke Grosso and goalie Sam Cadagan gave us the win. Our last game of the day against Vista saw our Saints dominating again and wining 4-0 with goals by Matt Shneider, Nick Shembri, Nikola Efthymiou and Steven Caro. Great play by goalie Mike Shneider guaranteed another shutout. All in all, a great day and a total team effort. Great play boys. No practice tonight but we will be back at it tomorrow after school.
