"Attention all students in grades (8) 9 through 12
St. Anne's parish is looking for students to volunteer as youth leaders for this year's Youth Ministry programs. If you love children and want to help, their first team training meeting is this coming Monday, September 11th. That's right – this coming Monday at St. Anne's parish hall from 7 pm until 9 pm."
This Monday ( the 11th) There will be a quick meeting at the beginning of first lunch for anyone who has signed up for this years golf team. It is important that you attend if you wish to try out for the team . That is - the beginning of lunch Monday the 11th of Sept.-golf team meeting
Today is the kick-off for our 10th annual Terry Fox Walk for cancer coming on Thursday, September 21st. Students will be visiting classrooms during period 2 today with information and pledge forms. Start getting your minimum $20 this weekend!
As always, if you get your pledge form in by next Friday, you will receive a free event t-shirt.
Students on spare, students in co-op and any staff without a classroom can make their pledges and order their shirts through Ms. Gelinas in the Guidance office.
St. Anne's has been a leader across the province in this event - this year we will surpass the $200,000 mark in funds raised! Keep a great tradition alive.
Anyone still interested in the April 2018 Europe Trip. Please see Mrs. Niforos, or Mr. Richardson today. A few spots still remain.
Any St. Anne student interested in being a part of the Choir, Concert Band or Jazz Band are reminded to come to the music room and sign up during your lunch today. We have an excellent response already and encourage all student musicians to get involved....especially grade 9 students!
Art Club will start this Thurs Sept 14 in room 165 at 2:20 to 3:20 all are welcome.

Attention to all grade 9s, it's your PM Kent Straky with an announcement regarding next week. As an introduction to high school, st annes is hosting grade 9 frosh week next week. Monday will start off with an exclusive to grade 9s jersey day. So on Monday wear your favourite jersey with uniform pants. Again, on Monday wear a jersey but keep the uniform pants. Tuesday will be another exclusive to grade 9s full spirit dress down day. Come in with all the blue and gold clothing you can imagine, school spirit is what we like to see. On Wednesday we will partake in a morning prayer service, and on Thursday we will hosting a club fair in the atrium during both lunches as well as meet the teacher night for grade 9's. Tables will be set up for all the different clubs st annes has to offer, so come check them out. Sign ups for student council grade 9 rep will take place at the student council club fair table on Thursday. Finally on Friday all grade 9s will enjoy a day of fun and games; grade 9 day, seniors will come to your homeroom classes to explain further on Monday.
Also, the senior leader sheet has been posted from last night's draw. check the lcc window to see if your name was drawn. If you were picked, I ask that you pick a theme for you class outside the LCC, as well as pick up a form and give me some contact info so I can reach out to you. Thank you to everyone who signed up.~
