Girls SLO-Pitch!
The girls played the first two games of the season yesterday in sunny McGregor. Unfortunately they faced two of last seasons top squads and despite some hard hits and good defensive plays they ended up losing both games.
Next games are Friday weather permitting. Practice tomorrow and Thursday.

The Running club meets tonight after school. Anyone interested in running a 5 K in June has plenty of time to train! This club is for you! Please meet in room 270 once you are changed and ready to go.
There has been interest from a couple students to learn to road ride safely and to learn some group riding skills.
On Friday Mr. Cullion will be meeting a small group of students at cycle culture in tecumseh at 4:00 for a short road ride. The focus of the ride will be safe routes, and safety riding in a group. See you there with a bike, a water bottle, and a helmet. A helmet is a must.
Volunteers are needed for th6th annual Heart Breaker Challenge fundraising event that supports Cardiac, Pulmonary and Stroke Rehabilitation programs at Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare.
This even is organized by the Petro Family (Parents and extended family of Emma Petro – Grade 9 Student) as a way to give back and support important rehabilitation services for the Windsor-Essex community, and has raised over $400 000 in the previous 5 years.
Volunteers are needed at Malden Park in Windsor, ON the following day:
Friday, May 25, 2018: all day and until 8pm – Course Set Up
Saturday, May 26,201- 8am until 1pm – Course Set Up
Saturday, May 26, 2018- 1pm until approx. 6pm – Obstacle Monitoring
Sunday, May 27, 2018 – 9am until approx. 4pm – Course Clean Up

Paulette will send you a form that needs to be completed for Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare. Paulette can also complete any forms that you may have for tracking Volunteer hours.
The WECDSB Construction Academy will be here to present to any interested Gr. 9 or 10 students on Wednesday, MAY 2 DURING PERIOD 2. Please see Guidance as soon as possible to reserve a spot for this presentation.
