Sr.Boy’s Soccer
Las Thursday, here at our field, your saints took on the Riverside Rebels. In a high paced game, your Saints provided tremendous defense and quality offensive play.
The result was a 0-0 draw, giving your Saints a point in the standings. Man of the match, was Joe Rados.
On Friday your Saints traveled to Tilbury for Tilbury Titan Outdoor Classic. In a four game round robin series, your Saints produce 8 goals and 4 clean sheets. In all your Saints were victorious and walked away as champions with a 3 wind one tie record. Man of the Match, the whole St. Anne team Well done boys. Practice today at 2:50 sharp.
Junior Boys Soccer
There's a very important meeting at the start of first lunch in Mr. Misho's room.
The Catholic Women's League of Good Shepherd Parish is offering a $250.00 scholarship to a male or female from the parish. If you are interested, PLEASE go to the GUIDANCE OFFICE and pick up an application.
It must be submitted to the parish office NO LATER than MAY 31st. Late submissions will not be considered.
The track team participated in 2 meets last week, the all comers and the kennedy relays.
Top 5 finishers at the all-comers include: Quintan Whiston, who jumped almost 6 metres to finish 2nd, taylor meloche was 4th in triple jump, Brayden Amlin was 5th in discus, and in midget girls pole vault, Finley booth placed 4th, Mckenna Renaud was 5th, and in junior pole vault, Josie Scott was 2nd and Ella Chiarcos 3rd. The top finish of the meet was Jacob Grainger who won the midget boys 200m.
At the Kennedy Relays, Noelle Tousignant placed 3rd in the 100m and Jaspar Costa 4th in the 800m. In Pole Vault, Max St pierre was 2nd, Ben Byzcynski was 3rd and Brad Murphy was 5th. The 4 x 100m relay team of Anthony Thompson, Brad Murphy, Steven Peters and Jacob Grainger placed 2nd and the girls 4x 100m of Noelle Tousignant, Taylor Meloche, Sierra Moscone and Kaitlyn Breault placed 4th. Undefeated this season, is Jacob Grainger who, in addition to winning the 100m, obliterated the meet record by 3 tenths of a second and ran 11.48 seconds.

Attention track and field athletes: There is a meeting in Coach Garant's room for important WECSAA info immediately after school. Entries are due this week. Practice will follow.

Do you like cake and are in a period 2 class?
If so, join our Annual Cake Auction
Information should have been shared with period 2 classes.
Cake Auction will be held as a part of Saints Soars Week during period 2 on May 9th in the LEARNING SUPPORT ROOM
Delicious and delicately decorated cakes will be bid on and each class will return will cake to share.
Plates and cutlery will be provided.
In order to attend, a MINIMUM of $25.00 must be collected, however, the more collected per class, the better the bidding.
If interested, please submit your $25.00 ASAP to Mrs. DiPasquale or Mr. Parent to reserve a spot, as there will only be a certain amount of spots available.
Once signed up, 2 representatives from each participating class will attend - there will be some introductory games and competitions to help earn some extra money credits for your class.
Proceeds will be going partially to St. Anne Student Council., to help offset costs - the remainder will be donated equally between The Windsor Cardiac Wellness Center and Canadian Mental Health Association.
St. Peter's parents will be selling~Pizza, Chips, Sour Keys Candy, Bottled Water and Gatorade~from~10:00 am until 2:00 pm~today.~St. Anne's students and staff are welcome to come out and support their Future Saints Grade 8 fundraiser.
