Some say November is here but at St. Annes we call it MOVEMBER.
Our school has always been awesome in growing the mustache during the month of Movember to support cancer research.
So come one, come all, grow the mustache, Ladies feel free to sport one from your local dollar store.
Miss Chevalier's class will be kicking off the campaign bringing the mustaches to your homerooms. Please give generously.
All those who are going to grow the stach please drop your name off to the co-op office and I will be in touch.
Mr. Gagnon and Mrs. Livermore would like to thank everyone who auditioned for Grease. We are totally impressed with the caliber of talent in our school. We will contact anyone needed for a call back audition. The cast list will be posted within the next few weeks. Stay tuned!!
Music news
There will be a Jazz Band rehearsal on Wed night till 3:30 only.
Cafe musique is this Wed. Nov. 5th from 6pm to 10pm. admission is 5.00 dollars at the door. All performers must bring in a baked good.
There will be a Choir rehearsal this Thursday night from 2:30 to 4:30.
Attention all St.Vincent de Paul members, due to the overwhelming number of volunteering opportunities available this month, our meeting has been moved to this Wednesday right after school in room 171. New members are always welcome. If you are in need of community service hours or just want to give back to our greater community come to room 171 this Wednesday. Hope to see you all there!
Jr. Boy's Football
To all Junior Football players, please see Mr. Geremia during your respective lunches concerning the end of the football season.
After watching our boys volleyball teams and our boys football teams on Thursday night be sure to come to St.Anne's Carmelita Hall on Friday night to watch our junior and senior girls battle for the Wecssa AAAA championships. Juniors tip off at 5:30 pm , Seniors to follow - 7:00 pm . Come early as seats will be hard to find , it is sure to be a fantastic night of basketball.
Mrs Stanski's period 3 class must take 2nd lunch today. Report to class immediately after period 2.
Attention S.W.A.T team this is a reminder that our meeting has been changed to today at 2:30 in room 157, that's today Monday November 3rd at 2:30.
Senior Boys Basketball:
Tryouts have been postponed. No tryout tonight at 6 pm as gym is not available. Please stay tuned to morning announcements. Thank you. Coach Kiss.
The Senior Boys Football team advanced to the WECSSAA semi-final with a 30-7 win over Massey last Friday. The Saints were led by a great defensive effort by all players. Morgan Ing completed a TD to Alex Bornais and Braeden Braccio dominated play with over 200 yards rushing and 3 TD.
The Saints now will play Thursday night at 7:30 at the University of Windsor - see you there.
